D66 for Role-Playing Help
A downloadable tool
I'm autistic and I often find myself at a loss when it comes to role-playing. I love playing D&D and other TTRPG's, mostly for the problem-solving and the combat, but I also love playing with my friends and joining in the role-play aspect. However, there are times when my brain just does NOT want to cooperate with my role-playing goals and I struggle with what to talk to my fellow party members about in-game.
So, I wrote these journaling prompts so that you can prep yourself and your PC (player character) for a session. These are meant to put you in the role-playing mindset.
I would suggest doing these either the day before or the day of a game so that you can have everything fresh on your mind. I also suggest keeping the journal entries with you while you play so that you can pull from them when needed.
There are 36 prompts in all and they're categorized into: Past, Personality, Goals and Motivations, The Party, The Enemy, and Current Situation.
All you need is two mis-matched d6's and something to journal with, whether it's digital or physical.
Included in the downloads are a PDF and a Plain Text file.
